Amway is an American multi-level marketing company that sells health, beauty, and home care products. The company was founded in 1959 by Jay Van Andel and Richard DeVos and is based in Ada, Michigan. Amway and its sister companies under Alticor reported sales of $8.4 billion in 2019.
More than one million Amway Business Owners (ABOs) around the world are the heart and soul of the company. Their success is integrated into everything and the technology team is working supports their goals.
My Experience
I had the pleasure of working as a full-stack UI/UX professional with Amway’s Global Digital Product and Experience Design team (DXD). It was a great opportunity to collaborate with designers from around the world and create exceptional experiences for Amway’s customers and business owners. I worked closely with Agile Product Teams to create high-quality software experiences, from Native iOS apps to responsive web experiences. It was very rewarding to be part of such an innovative team and be able to contribute to the development of digital products that will shape the future of Amway.
My Responsibility
- Established and presented own UX ideas for updating Checkout user experience with UI presentation (North American market).
- Worked on E-commerce Products Listing Page, SRP pages, and Wish list page designs (Italy market and ANA).
- Created a new user experience and easy-to-find information for Customer Service Representative Mode (CSR) with access to the commerce website (global experience).
- Conducted user interviews, for creating the future internal SAAS tool for account managers (LGS).
- Worked on SAAS internal tool.
- Created APP icon.
